Vaccine update for Cohorts 5 & 6

We have received the following instruction from NHS England regarding vaccination of the next cohorts:

Cohort 5 (65 – 69 years): The national vaccine service is now responsible for your vaccination. You will receive an invitation from the national booking team to book online or via 119 at a local pharmacy or mass vaccination site. If you are in cohort 5 and are able to take up the national invite to attend at a mass site or pharmacy, please do so as they will be able to offer you a vaccine promptly.

If you are unable to attend at one of the sites offered on the national invite, please send an email to covid.vaccine1@nhs.net with your full name, telephone number, date of birth, post code and which surgery you are registered at. One of the booking team will then be in touch to offer you an appointment at one of the clinics in Pangbourne. This is subject to our vaccine supply so your patience is greatly appreciated, we will contact you as soon as we can. If you do not have an email account, a friend or relative is welcome to email covid.vaccine1@nhs.net on your behalf.

Cohort 6 (16 – 65 years ‘at risk’): GP led vaccine centres are responsible for your vaccination – that’s us! Please DO NOT CONTACT US TO BOOK, we will be in touch with you either via text message with a booking link, or by phoning you. Please keep in mind this is a very large cohort, and we are vaccinating across 4 surgeries; we cannot invite you all at once, your patience is appreciated.

Please be advised that we are expecting to receive Pfizer vaccines for our clinics weeks commencing 15th and 22nd of February. Please see the vaccine information here:
