Covid Vaccination update 1 March 2021

To date the following numbers of patients have received their first Covid Vaccine:

  • 80+ years – 99%
  • 75-79 years – 96.5%
  • 70-74 years – 91.6%

If you are a patient who is over 70 years and has yet to be contacted, please contact us by completing the Contact the practice form.

We are currently vaccinating Patients in the 16-64 years in an at risk group, and to date 61% have received their first vaccine. This is an extremely large group so please bear with us if you are still waiting to be contacted.

Patients in Group 5 (65 years+) are being contacted to receive their vaccine in one of the larger Vaccination Hubs or local pharmacy and to date 75% have received their first vaccine. If you are in this Group you can also book a vaccine at: www.nhs.uk – Book or manage your coronavirus vaccination.

If you are in Group 5 and are unable to attend at one of the sites offered on the national invite, please send an email to covid.vaccine1@nhs.net detailing your full name, telephone number, date of birth, post code and which surgery you are registered. We will then be in touch to offer you an appointment at one of our clinics – this is subject to our vaccine supply so your patience is greatly appreciated, we will contact you as soon as we can – but this may involve a longer wait that if you use one of the larger Hubs or pharmacies. If you do not have an email account, a friend or relative is welcome to email us on your behalf.

You may also have seen on the national news over the weekend that patients over 60 years can also use the NHS booking line above to book their vaccination. Please do use this booking service rather than telephoning the practice.

If you have further questions, please contact us by completing the Contact the practice form rather than telephoning the practice as our phone lines continue to be very busy and this may delay patients with urgent medical needs getting through.

Your assistance is much appreciated.
