Dr Arek Hassy

It is with regret that we announce that Dr Arek Hassy will be leaving Theale Medical Practice on 30th April 2021 for personal family reasons. Dr Hassy joined the Theale Medical Practice in May 2010, becoming a Partner in 2017 and we know he will be much missed by his patients and the wider patient community, as well as by his friends and colleagues here in the Practice. Dr Hassy himself says it’s with great sadness on his part and he will miss all the patients he’s been lucky to treat and get to know over the years.

Many patients will want to say their goodbyes in person, but we are sure you will understand that this may not be possible, therefore we would encourage anyone wanting to pass of their wishes do this via letter, email at rccg.tmc@nhs.net or via our website. We will collate a goodwill book of messages for Dr Hassy.

We will shortly be contacting Dr Hassy’s patients, providing details of who will become their nominated GP from May 2021.

We are pleased to announce though that Dr Anne Lloyd will be joining us from 19th April 2021 as a Salaried GP. Dr Lloyd completed her training in 2015 and has worked in Sussex until moving to this area recently. Additionally, from May, two familiar faces will return to the Practice on a Locum basis, Dr Susannah Denny and Dr Juan Martinez so we are confident that all patients will continue to receive the best possible patient care.
