Coronavirus High-Risk and Vulnerable Patients Update

You are probably aware from the media, that the government have centrally created a list of patients considered to be at a high risk of complications from Coronavirus. If you are on this list, you should have received a letter by now. Individual practices have not been involved in this process and we do not have any additional information about this list.

We are currently waiting for information from NHS England to be able to run searches to identity if we have any additional patients that should be added to the high risk list. As soon as we have this information we will run the searches and send additional letters to patients as necessary. This delay is national and not specific to Theale Medical Centre.

We will post a news item on the practice website and on Facebook when the search has been completed and letters have been sent out.

Until then we recommend that patients should shield if they consider themselves at higher risk because of the conditions on this link:
